FLAMINGO
Scientists continue to debate how to classify Flamingos. While Americans associate this bird with Florida, they are rarely seen in the wild.

In 2017, a pair of Flamingos were blown off course and found in Northwest Florida for a brief period.

Worldwide, there are a total of six species of Flamingos, four of which are found in the Americas.
