Bottoms Road, St Marks National Wildlife Refuge
In 2016, a few of got up on a cold February morning to photograph sunrise at the Refuge. Unfortunately, the sunrise was less than spectacular. So, along with three other photographers, I searched for interesting things to photograph.
This seaweed had washed up on a few rocks and made an interesting pattern. Until today, I was never satisfied with the processing for this image because I could not get enough contrast. When I came across the file today, I opened it in Adobe RAW and began to play with hue, saturation, and luminosity and finally got the results I was looking for.
